Before the Easter break, Galahad class were very excited to be the first children to try out Tubbenden’s very own orienteering course! Buzzing with enthusiasm after the excellent geography map-work lessons, they were extremely keen to test their 4 figure grid reference skills. Each group of children were given a map of the school grounds and a list of grid references, each revealing the location of clues which collectively would lead them to a prize. All groups worked fantastically, demonstrating great teamwork, communication and speed, along with a hint of competitiveness!
(Please note: the hats were for ‘Wear a Hat Day’, not for providing special orienteering powers)
