On Wednesday 11th of February, Merlin and Yellow class joined ‘forces’ to look a push and pull in the park! We also explored outdoor toys and how they are different to indoor toys.
A great end to spring term 1!

Class A have been doing their bit for the environment and set off for the local recycling centre last Thursday morning, 3rd April. Armed with bags of paper, plastic and glass they walked all the way to the centre and recycled all the items, reinforcing everything they have learned about reducing, reusing and recycling.
On Thursday 13th February, Class A were extremely fortunate to have a break in the rain and enjoyed a fantastic trip to Christmas Tree Farm. After a fun bus ride through the narrow country lanes we all arrived excited at the farm and collected our feeding buckets. Despite the cold weather there were still lots of animals to see who were all eager to be fed. We all thoroughly enjoyed feeding and stroking the goats, llamas, sheep, cows, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs and lots more. After washing our hands thoroughly and a quick snack we hopped on the bus back to school having very much enjoyed our trip to farm.
On the Thursday before half term Class A made their way to London to visit the London Sea Life Centre.
After an exciting trip up on the train, we arrived at the Sea Life centre to be greeted by a glass floor with sharks, rays, eels and more swimming under our feet! It was fascinating, although some of the teachers seemed to walk across very quickly! We made our way through the exhibits, watching the octopus feeding time, seeing menacing sharks, colourful tropical fish, glowing jellyfish and having rays popping up to say hello to us. I think a class favourite was the penguins and the sharks.
Although we trooped back to school a very tired class, I think I can say with confidence we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
