A Fantastic Response from our Community

As you know we have been collecting money to raise funds to purchase two ‘Shelter Boxes’ for people affected by Typhoon Haiyan in The Philippines. Each box costs £590.

I am absolutely thrilled to be able to inform you that at the time of writing our collection has so far raised a magnificent: £1,382.25, meaning that we can pay for at least two boxes! There is still more money to come!

Well done Tubbenden Primary School!

Lots of children took action to raise extra amounts.

In 6S Charlie raised over £20 by pestering his family and neighbours, Leah raised £15 and Luke, after placing a bucket and appeal poster in his parents’ shop, raised £157.89!

Children in 6T also got stuck into fundraising by selling cakes and biscuits around the school, raising £71.19.
