Romeo, Romeo ………..

Lord and Lady Capulet invited the kind and noble lords and ladies in year 4 to join them in a joyous masquerade in the Great Hall. Children entered the Great Hall which was lit by candle light and  danced with enthusiasm accompanied by the harp, the flute, the citole and the hurdy gurdy. This term children will read the story of Romeo and Juliet which starts at the Capulet Ball.  As part of the Talk4Writing project, children were introduced to the new story by creating an exciting ‘hook’ – a Tudor ball room scene.
