Congratulations to the three children who took part in the Primary Maths Challenge and were awarded bronze medals. Along with 72,000 other children across the country, they entered the first stage in November 2015. 1,554 children scored 21 or more out of 25 and were selected to take part in the bonus round. In order to gain a bronze medal, 18 or more marks, out of a possible 25, were required.
This is a tremendous achievement. The questions were quite challenging at times, especially when given only forty-five minutes to answer them all. We look forward to hearing about their continued mathematical success as they move to secondary school.
